These terms apply to anyone using crosswindcareers.com — whether you're reading an article, subscribing to the newsletter, or just browsing. Using the site means you accept them.
Crosswind Careers is an aviation and aerospace careers editorial brand operated from the United Kingdom. Contact: hello@crosswindcareers.com.
Content ownership
Everything on this site — the articles, newsletter editions, guides, and original research — is the copyright of Crosswind Careers. You can quote short passages for the purpose of discussion, review, or education, if you attribute the source and link back to the original. Please don't reproduce full articles on other platforms without asking first. Email us if you want to.
Accuracy of information
We work hard to get things right. Aviation careers information changes regularly — training costs, CAA licensing requirements, airline recruitment cycles, and salary benchmarks all shift over time. We can't guarantee that every article is current now you read it, and nothing on this site constitutes professional financial or careers advice.
Before making significant decisions — like enrolling in an ATPL programme or applying to a cadet scheme — do your own research and verify information directly with the relevant organisations. We're a careers editorial brand, not a careers adviser.
Third-party links
We link to external sites frequently: flight schools, regulatory bodies, airline recruitment pages, training providers, and gear manufacturers. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content, accuracy, or privacy practices. A link from Crosswind is not an endorsement unless we've explicitly said so in the text.
When you subscribe to the Crosswind newsletter, you're agreeing to receive a weekly email covering aviation careers news, recruitment updates, and original editorial content. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any edition — there's one in every email, at the bottom.
We won't add you to unrelated mailing lists or send you emails that aren't the newsletter you signed up for. If our newsletter format changes significantly, we'll mention it in an edition before the change takes effect.
Sponsored content
Some articles on this site and some inclusions in the newsletter are paid for by sponsors. All paid content is clearly labelled — either with a banner at the top of sponsored articles, or with the word SPONSORED before any paid newsletter inclusion. Sponsored content is written to the same editorial standard as everything else on the site.
Affiliate links
Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. We note affiliate links in the articles that contain them.
Neither sponsorships nor affiliate arrangements influence our editorial positions. We don't write favourably about products or organisations because they've paid us, and we don't include affiliate links for things we wouldn't otherwise recommend.
We aim to keep the site running reliably, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted access. Technical issues happen. We're not liable for any loss or inconvenience caused by the site being unavailable.
We can update these terms when the way we operate changes. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last revised. Continuing to use the site after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Questions about these terms can be sent to hello@crosswindcareers.com. We'll aim to respond within five working days.
