About

Aerospace engineering student at Kingston University London, on track for a First (89% in first year, 85% in second). In March 2026 our hybrid rocket engine, MAKAW 2, burned for 10 seconds at 130 N peak thrust, and I made its injector plate. I work in SolidWorks and ANSYS. Co-founded Crosswind to give people straight answers about getting into aviation and aerospace.

Work history

Co-Founder, Operations & Growth

Crosswind Careers · May 2026 to present

Built the first version of the site as a coded prototype, then rebuilt it in Webflow. I run brand, operations and growth, and write the engineering and careers content.

Sales Consultant

EE · 2024

Helped customers choose devices and plans in a busy retail store.

Project Development Assistant

Embraer, London City Airport · Apr to Jul 2023

Looked at the commercial case for air taxis in London, modelling fares against operating assumptions. My team presented it to an Embraer assessor, and the work earned an award for commitment and leadership.

Virtual Work Experience

Civil Aviation Authority · 2023

Analysed information and worked through policy tasks.

Education

BEng (Hons) Aerospace Engineering and Space Technology

Kingston University London · Sep 2024 to Jul 2027

On track for First Class Honours. Year 2: Aerodynamics, Propulsion and Aircraft Performance; Aerospace Structures, Composite Materials and Vibrations; Computer-Aided Aerospace Engineering Design; Space Technology Design. Year 1: Engineering Mathematics; Thermodynamics and Fluid Mechanics; Engineering Mechanics and Materials; Engineering Design and Manufacture; Astronautics.

BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Aviation Operations

London Design and Engineering UTC · Aug 2022 to Aug 2024

Distinction*, Distinction*, Distinction*. AS-Level Further Mathematics: A. 9 GCSEs including Mathematics (7) and English (7).

Engineering projects

MAKAW 2 Hybrid Rocket Engine

Project Manufacturing Engineer, six-person group project at Kingston University · 2026

I made the injector plate: CNC machining, a lathe fix for the sealing step, then fitting the O-ring and test-assembling it into the bulkhead. Every change from the drawing was red-lined. The design was an aluminium showerhead injector with seven 2 mm holes feeding a 200 mm Nylon 6 fuel grain, and I helped with the CAD. We worked from requirements through the preliminary design review and manufacturing readiness review. In the March hot fire combustion was stable and the injector came through intact. Specific impulse was 152 s, and the build cost £91.66 against a £100 budget.

CFD and FEA Coursework

Computer-Aided Aerospace Engineering Design · 2026

CFD: meshed the AG36 aerofoil in ICEM CFD with the first cell sized for y+ = 1, then checked the results against XFoil. FEA: modelled a fuselage and wing box in ANSYS Mechanical, ran a mesh convergence study and a modal analysis, and redesigned it twice.

IMechE Design Challenge: Automated EV Charging Device

2025

I led the research and worked on the geometry for an autonomous device that had to fit in a 400 mm cube, hit a 50 x 50 mm wall target and return to a scoring datum, over distances only revealed on the day.
